Pushing and big boulder up a hill?
As people, we many times tend to make others feel this way. We put others in positions like this, attempting to win or earn our good graces, our friendship, our acceptance of them.
There is one though, who sticks with us closer than a brother, even with motherly affection, who rather moves the boulder for us.
I hope to be more and more like this one. The one who removes and relieves others of the boulders of separation and alienation. One whose friendship and such are given rather than earned.
